Step 1

For preparing beef balls in coconut gravy, grind the beef with salt.

Step 2

In a bowl mix in, ground beef, garlic paste, chilly powder, green chillies, onion, oregano, parsley, garam masala, pepper powder and eggs. Combine all well.

Step 3

Make small lemon sized balls out of the mixture.

Step 4

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the meat balls for 10 minutes till it becomes brown in colour on low flame. Keep it aside.

Step 5

In another vessel, heat oil and roast the coconut till brown in colour. Keep it aside, allow it to cool and grind it to a fine paste.

Step 6

Heat oil in pressure cooker and sautT the onions on low flame till it becomes transparent.

Step 7

Add in the ginger-garlic paste, salt and green chilies. Fry well.

Step 8

Toss in the tomatoes, chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and curry leaves. Fry till the oil separates.

Step 9

Then add in the potatoes and pour in the water. Allow it to cook on slow flame till the potatoes are cooked.

Step 10

Add in the fried beef balls, vinegar, coconut paste and coriander leaves. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 11

Beef balls in coconut gravy is ready. Serve hot with chapatti, bread, etc.
