Step 1

For preparing beef in green peas gravy, grind onion, garlic and ginger to a smooth paste.

Step 2

Marinate the beef pieces with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of onion paste.

Step 3

Fry the beef pieces in oil till golden brown.

Step 4

Take a pressure cooker and heat oil. Fry the balance onion paste for some time.

Step 5

Add turmeric powder, tomato puree, chilly powder and garam masala. Fry well.

Step 6

Put in the green peas, potatoes, water and salt. Allow it to cook till done.

Step 7

Remove the pressure cooker lid and add in the fried beef pieces. Allow it to boil for some time.

Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves and lime juice.

Step 9

Beef in green peas gravy is ready, Serve hot with chapatti.
