Step 1

For preparing beetroot puri, wash the beetroot with the skin and cook it in water with salt for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Then remove the skin and blend it till smooth.

Step 3

Take a vessel, add wheat powder, salt, beetroot puree and a little water.

Step 4

Mix it into a dough.

Step 5

Make small balls and keep it aside.

Step 6

Roll out each ball with a rolling pin.(instead of wheat powder for dusting use oil). Keep it aside.

Step 7

Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the puri`s one by one on both the sides.

Step 8

Once done, remove it and place it in a plate lined with tissue paper to remove the excess oil.

Step 9

Betroot puri is ready. Serve hot with potato bajji.
