Step 1 Beetroot Raita/ Kerala Style Beetroot Pachadi Recipe

Step 1

Take all the ingredients for the coconut paste.Grind the coconut with the green chilli, 2 shallots, and cumin seeds with some water to make a smooth paste. Set aside.

Cook the beetroot with salt and little water for 1 whistles

Add ground coconut mixture and bring it to boil.

When it starts boil remove it from the flame and let it cool for some time,only then add curd and combine well.

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed then add dried red chilly and curry leaves.Turn off the flame.

Add it to the curry.
