Directions

Step 1

For prepaaring Bhatura, first sieve maida with baking powder, salt and baking soda.

Step 2

In a cup, mix sugar in the curd.

Step 3

Slowly, add it to the maida.

Step 4

Add reqd water and 2 tbsp of oil and knead the dough gently.

Step 5

:- The secret lies in that the dough should be soft, pliable and should not stick to the hand.

Step 6

Cover with a wet cloth and keep aside for 2 hours.

Step 7

Make small balls and keep it again for 10 mins.

Step 8

Grease your palms with a little oil and flatten the balls.

Step 9

Roll them out into pooris.

Step 10

Deep fry in hot oil.

Step 11

Take it onto an absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.

Step 12

:- Serve Bhatura hot with chole.
