Heat the tava.
Place a piece of butter on it and let it melt.
Immediately, place a piece of bread over it.
Move the bread around the tava so that the butter is spread all over the bread. (use ur hand)
Place some butter over the bread and then turn the bread upside down.
Remove from the tava once it gets the desired crispness.
:- You can have it as it is or with jam or egg bullseye.

hello can somebody pls explain what diff perspective did we have in this authentic recipe.I need to know how do we grind coconut, cut veggies etc etc.
instead of jam, while toasting bread, add some sugar and let it fry with bread , and instead of butter use ghee.
Okay, this is ridiculous!!! You really think no one knows how to butter a tava and toss a bread on to it? And there is no perspective difference. Like Smitha said, sure post a recipe for boiling water. Now, that would be cool! ;-)
