Step 1

Preparation Method for Butter Chicken :
1)Cut chicken breast into small cubes, wash and drain.

Step 2

Marinate the chicken pieces with the remaining items mentioned marinade except Oil.

Step 3

Leave the chicken for a minimum of 1 hour.

Step 4

Then fry the chicken pieces and leave aside.

Step 5

Take the oil used for frying(3-4 tbsp) along with the browned masala particles sticking to the pan.

Step 6

For Gravy:-
1)Add Jeera, and when it splutter, add chopped onion, saute for 2-3 mins.

Step 7

Then add the ginger garlic paste.

Step 8

Add the masala powders and the kasthuri methi(crushed between your palms) and mix well.

Step 9

Add the tomatoes anmd saute till the tomatoes are soft.

Step 10

Add 2 1/2 cup of boiling water and also the cashewnuts.

Step 11

Remove the gravy from the fire and blend well in the blender.

7)Heat butter and add the blended gravy and mix well.

Step 12

Add food colour, ketchup, sugar, cream and stir well.

Step 13

Add the chicken pieces to this and reduce the flame and leave it for 3-4 mins mins.

Step 14

Sprinkle 1-2 pinch of garam masala to Butter Chicken and stir well.

Step 15

Remove Butter Chicken from fire and serve with naan, rotis or chappathis.

Step 16

:- Butter Chicken is ready.
