Ingredients

  • Maida 2 cups
    Oil   1 cup
    Eggs 2
    Salt 1/2 tsp
    Grated carrot 1  1/2 cups
    Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp
    Soda Bicarbonate 1 1/2 tsp
    Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
    Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
    Sugar powder 2 cups

Sift Maida, salt, baking powder, soda bicarbonate and cinnamon powder together.

Beat eggs well

Add sugar and oil into beaten egg

Add flour slowly. Mix well

Mix the batter well

Smear some oil on to the cake tin and dust it with maida and prepare the cake tin

Pour the cake batter to the cake tin

Bake at 180 c for 45 to one hour. Temperature and timings may vary as per each oven settings. Adjust the temperature according to your oven settings.
