Step 1

Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in a pan.Roast the cashew and raisins and keep it aside.

Step 2

To the pan, add another 1/2 tbsp of ghee and add grated carrot and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add milk and boil(stirring frequently) till a thick paste is obtained.

Step 4

Add sugar and saute till the mixture does not stick to the sides.

Step 5

Add remaining ghee, cardamom powder, raisins , cashew nuts, cashew paste and saute for 1 minute.(too much sauting in ghee will make the mixture rubbery)

Step 6

Note:- This recipe is of medium sweetness. Sweet lovers can add 3/4 - 1 cup of sugar as well!!!
