Directions

Step 1

Cut carrots into small pieces and boil them in a pressure cooker.

Step 2

Add saffron and grind it well.

Step 3

Heat this mixture over a very low flame.

Step 4

Add sugar and stir continuously till the sugar dissolves in the mixture.

Step 5

Add cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 6

Next, add boiled milk to this mixture and again mix well.

Step 7

Refrigerate the same.

Step 8

Roast some cashews and add to the kheer just before serving.

Step 9

:-Serve cold.
