Cauliflower Pakoda

Cauliflower Pakoda is a delicious deep fried snack favorite with both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. This super hit starter snack makes a great treat at parties. We have included a very simple presentation of Cauliflower Pakoda. The cauliflower florets are marinated in a spicy ginger-garlic mixture. Gram flour and rice flour is added to the marinated mix. Little water is sprinkled to make a thick batter. Pluck dough in the shape of pakodas and fry in hot boiling oil to a dark brown color. Enjoy Cauliflower Pakoda with hot and sweet tomato sauce.

Step 1

Cut the cauliflower into big bunches.

Step 2

In a bowl, take the flower bunches, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, slit green chillies and curry leaves.

Step 3

Add salt and mix all of them well and keep aside.

Step 4

After 15 mins, add gram flour and rice flour to the above and adding water slowly, prepare a thick batter.

Step 5

Heat oil in a frying bowl.

Step 6

Reduce flame and add the dough with its ingredients as medium sized pakodas.

Step 7

Fry until dark brown.

Step 8

:- Serve with hot and sweet tamato sauce.
