Step 1

For preparing cauliflower potato dry, first soak cauliflower florets in water for 1/2 an hour.

Step 2

Steam the cauliflower for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Then steam the potatoes for 20 minutes or till done.

Step 4

In a bowl mix in chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder and salt along with a dash of water.

Step 5

Marinate the potato and cauliflower in the above mixture for 20 minutes.

Step 6

Heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds with curry leaves.

Step 7

Saute in the onions and tomatoes.

Step 8

Add in the marinated potato and cauliflower. Saute it well.

Step 9

Garnish with coriander leaves and garam masala.

Step 10

Cauliflower potato dry is ready. Serve hot with chapatti.
