Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 2

Add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter.

Step 3

Pound the garlic and cumin seeds together and add it to the oil and fry it for a few seconds.

Step 4

Add ginger, chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves and red chillies and fry it for a minute.

Step 5

Add the celery and coconut and cook it, till the celery is half cooked.

Step 6

Add the cooked cherupayar.

Step 7

Cook it covered, until everything is evenly cooked.

Step 8

Add salt to taste.

Never liked celery before. This recipe made me a celery fan. Really yummy. I just put 3 sticks of celery since I find it too strong. This worked for me!Thanks.
