Step 1

For preparing chicken in coriander gravy, grind coriander leaves, garlic and green chillies with a little water. Make it into a thick paste.

Step 2

Heat oil in a vessel. Fry the onion till it becomes transparent.

Step 3

Add in chilly powder, turmeric powder and garam masala. SautT well.

Step 4

Then add in the tomatoes and fry it well.

Step 5

Pour in the coriander paste and add in the salt.

Step 6

Toss in the chicken pieces with a little water for the chicken to cook.

Step 7

Allow it to cook on low flame with the lid covered.

Step 8

Once it is cooked, sprinkle pepper powder and add in lemon juice. Remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Chicken in coriander gravy is ready. Serve hot with chappathi, porotta, etc.
