Step 1

For preparing chicken in pistachio gravy, grind pistachio with coconut milk to make a fine paste. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Fry onion in oil till it becomes transparent.

Step 3

Add in the ginger-garlic paste and fry well.

Step 4

Then add in chilly powder, turmeric powder, tomato and garam masala. Fry till the oil separates.

Step 5

Toss in the chicken pieces with a little water and mix well. Allow it to cook on low flame with a closed lid.

Step 6

Pour in the pistachio paste and allow it to simmer for some time.

Step 7

Sprinkle pepper powder and garnish with coriander leaves. Remove it from the flame.

Step 8

Chicken in pistachio gravy is ready. Serve hot with chappathi, porotta, etc.
