Step 1

For preparing chicken pepper dry fry, in a bowl mix in green chillies, ginger, pepper powder, cinnamon powder, cloves powder, cardamom powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, lime juice, coriander leaves, curry leaves and salt.

Step 2

Marinate the chicken pieces in the above masala for 1/2 an hour.

Step 3

Put the marinated pieces with the masala and 1/2 cup water in a vessel. Allow it to cook till done.

Step 4

Remove it from the flame.

Step 5

Separate the chicken pieces from the gravy.

Step 6

In a deep frying pan heat oil and fry the chicken pieces.

Step 7

Put the fried chicken pieces into the gravy and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 8

Pour the remaining coconut oil into the gravy and mix it well. Remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Chicken pepper dry fry is ready. Serve hot.
