First of all,i would like to thank you for sharing this recipe. Your efforts and hardwork put in, is really appreciable. I tried out this recipe and it was simply superb. I have a suggestion - add 2 green capsicums chopped in squares and fry it along with onion, to get the authentic touch. Ajino moto is bad for health, so no need of using that.

First I would like to thank you for the effort taken. Though the receipe is not so easy to cook as several steps to follow and the asics of real chinese chilli chicken ingredients and method is missing. May taste good but not the authentic dish will turn out.

The recipe is excellent.Only thing missing in this recipe is that you should saute 1tbsp of fresh garlic and ginger before you fry onions and green chillies.

This is an excellent recipe. I prepared this with several modifications. First, I used beef instead of chicken - so it really is "chilli beef", but the results were amazing! Here are the other modifications I made: I cooked one pound of stewing beef in a pressure cooker with nothing added other than a little water. The beef was pretty much cooked by the time I took it out of the pressure cooker. The rest of the process was basically the same as in the recipe other than the fact that I did use half a teaspoon of garlic powder and a table-spoon of chilli powder to make it more spicy. The amount of vinegar and soya sauce was about a half of the amount called for in the recipe given the amount of meat.

Capsicum is missing. Onions must be chopped in 4 quarters (big pieces). those who didnt taste chilli chicken earlier would like it. In fact this is Indian version of chinese chilly chicken which could be more tasty for Indian toungues.

Relatively easy, and well worth the time. I think chicken breast or fat-free chicken meat is ideal for this recipe.

This recipe was good. only thing is it needed more of a Desi taste to it so I added Red Chili powder to it. I felt that two eggs gave it too much of a Egg flavor, next time I would add only one Egg. Also, I did not have corn flour so I added Corn Starch. I think Corn flour would of been better to use to get the Consistency of Chili Chicken. No need to use MSG (Ajinimoto). Its bad for you anyways. Overall, Good Recipe.

Excellent!!!Tastes just like the chilly chicken I used to have in India. If you however want to avoid oil....stir fry the chicken in 2 tbsp of oil instead of deep frying it. I added the egg and cornflour just before stir frying the chicken. It tasted awesome. I also added a bit of chilli powder to get the desi spicy flavor which the American hot peppers fail to render.

This recipe is one among the originals that I found on this site. Turned out good as well. Usually, Chinese recipes recommended by people who disregard Chinese cuisine will have ginger and several other foreign ingredients that Chinese seldom use.

I made it, it was good. it doesn`t have the same taste like the usual chilly chicken available in restaurant; chinese chilly chicken usually contains capsicum & ginger-garlic, right.
