Step 1

Mix gram flour, chilly powder, salt and asafoetida in water to prepare a smooth batter.

Step 2

Make a small hole on the chilly to fill the tamarind.

Step 3

Dip the chillies in the batter.

Step 4

Fry them in the oil till they become golden brown.

good stuff. the termirind is the crux, i used hot chilli it,s yummy

This is good recipe. But Descriptioniption is not clear. Dont put the thamarind directly into the chillies. Soak the thamarind for 5-10 mints. Thamarind+ jeera(1tbs)+salt(a pinch), make it thick paste. Cut one side of chilles and then stuff this tamarind paste into them all. Then put one by one chilli dip in the above batter and deep fry in the oil(till golden color). Then it would be a great tasty.

good,but instead of tamarind please use tomato sause,it was good, I tried this

recipe is vgood tamrind juice is to reduce the hotness of the chilly

instead of tarmarind use turmeric powder is very good

Can u give some other filling .How can u fill only tamarind.some other thing should be filled inside bajjii to taste good
