Step 1

For preparing chilly rabbit, mix together 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1/2 tsp each of black and white pepper powder, egg and corn flour to make a lump free batter.

Step 2

Marinate the rabbit with the above mixture for about 30 minutes.

Step 3

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the rabbit till golden brown.

Step 4

Remove and drain the oil. Keep it aside.

Step 5

Grind garlic and chillies to a smooth paste.

Step 6

Heat oil in a pan and sautT the above paste on low flame.

Step 7

Dissolve the chicken stock cube in one cup of boiling water and pour it into the pan.

Step 8

Add the remaining 1/2 tbsp of white pepper, 1/2 tbsp of black pepper, 1 tbsp of soya sauce and 1 tsp of sugar.

Step 9

Bring it to a boil.

Step 10

Then add in the fried rabbit pieces.

Step 11

Allow it to cook for a few more minutes, until the gravy thickens.

Step 12

Add the chopped spring onions, mix it well and remove it from heat.

Step 13

Chilly rabbit is ready. Serve hot.
