Step 1

Marinate the prawns with salt and pepper and keep it aside for atleast 1/2 an hour.

Step 2

Beat egg in a bowl.

Step 3

Mix maida with egg.

Step 4

Pour egg-maida mixture over the marinated prawns and mix well.

Step 5

Deep fry prawns till golden brown and keep it aside.

Step 6

Heat oil in a wok.

Step 7

Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute.

Step 8

Add soya sauce and veg stock.

Step 9

Add salt to taste.

Step 10

When the stock boils, add fried prawns.

Step 11

Mix corn flour with 1/2 cup of water and add to the gravy.

Step 12

Add sugar and red colour.

Step 13

Add chopped spring onion.

Step 14

:- Chilli prawns is ready to serve.

I tried your recipe,it came out well.My hubby and bro liked it very much.Though i have a suggestion ie since it is a chinese recipe the onions should be diced and also some capcisum can be included.I also added thai chilly sauce along with soya sauce.Anyways well done.
