For preparing cocoa bites, first heat a deep bottomed pan and saute grated coconut with sugar in low heat.
Mix cocoa powder in milk and pour into the mixture.
Keep stirring continuously in low heat.
When water has evaporated completely and the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, add vanilla essence and remove from fire.
Grease a plate with ghee and stir in the cocoa mixture. Press down uniformly with a spoon and garnish with chopped badam.
When the cocoa mixture has cooled down completely, cut into desired shapes and enjoy.
Cocoa bites, a favorite with kids as well as elders, is ready.
