Directions

Step 1

Heat a heavy bottomed pan.

Step 2

Add ghee to the pan and heat it.

Step 3

Then put the coconut and continuously fry it till it becomes dry.

Step 4

Add sugar and milk. Stir it continuously.

Step 5

Add milkmaid to it and bring the contents to boil.

Step 6

Keep on stirring continuously.

Step 7

Add 1/2 tspn of bournvita and keep on stirring.

Step 8

Add a pinch of cardamom powder for flavour.

Step 9

Boil the syrup till it becomes thick and starts sticking to the bottom.
:- If required add, raisins, cashews (optional)

Step 10

Add 1 tspn ghee and stir it for about half minute. The mixture should become soft.

Step 11

Pour the mixture into a greased pan so that it spreads evenly.

Step 12

Allow it to cool and then cut into square or diamond shapes.
