Step 1

For preparing coconut cottage cheese(paneer) curry, heat coconut oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and fennel seeds.

Step 2

Add in onions and sautT till it becomes brown in colour.

Step 3

Now add in ginger-garlic paste and sautT well for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 4

Now add in chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, red food colouring and green chilies.

Step 5

Toss in the tomatoes, curry leaves, bay leaf and pour a little water. Mix well and allow the tomatoes to cook on low flame till it becomes mushy.

Step 6

Then add in the paneer, soya sauce and a little water if required. Allow the paneer to cook on low flame.

Step 7

When the paneer is nearly done, pour in the coconut milk and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.

Step 9

Coconut cottage cheese(paneer) curry is ready. Serve hot with naan, kulcha, etc.
