Step 1

First bring to boil around 1/4 cup of water. Remove water from fire.

Step 2

Stir in rice flour, butter, cardamom powder, sugar, coconut and required salt. Knead well into a soft dough adding extra boiled water if needed.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and red chillies.

Step 4

Pour it on the rice flour, Make small balls out of the dough and keep aside.

Step 5

Place it in idly cooker, and cook for 10 minutes.

Step 6

A tasty snack for kids and elders.
