Beef is cooked in a coriander paste gravy

Step 1

For preparing coriander beef, cook the beef in a pressure cooker with a little salt water. Drain it and keep the stock.

Step 2

Heat oil in a vessel and saute the onions until golden brown.

Step 3

Add in the ginger-garlic paste, coriander paste, garam masala, meat masala, chilly powder, pepper powder and turmeric. Fry it for 1 minute on low flame.

Step 4

Then add in the cooked beef and fry it till a bit brown in colour.

Step 5

Pour a little of the beef stock and cashew nut paste.

Step 6

Allow it to simmer for about 30 minutes.

Step 7

Mix in remaining cashew nut paste.

Step 8

Garnish with lime juice.

Step 9

Coriander beef is ready. Serve hot with chapatti.
