Directions

Step 1

For preparing cream of mushroom soup with sorrel, melt butter in a saucepan, add the sorrel leaves and potatoes. Stir and leave it to fry.

Step 2

Add in the mushrooms, salt and pepper powder. Cook for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Pour hot water and allow it to simmer on low flame for 20 minutes.

4)When cooked, pour the soup into a blender and blend it well.

Step 4

Pour the soup back into the saucepan, add in the cream and mix well. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.

Step 5

Cream of mushroom soup with sorrel is ready. Serve hot.
