Mix together eggs, grated cheese, butter, maida, soda powder, mustard powder, pepper powder and salt. The batter should be smooth.
Apply the batter thickly on one side of the bread slice. Repeat with remaining bread slices.
Place the bread slices in a preheated oven and bake till the top portion with cheese batter becomes golden in color.
Crispy cheese toast, an apt evening time snack is ready and serve hot
Tips:1)If the cheese batter is of rough consistency, add some milk and make it smooth.
You can sprinkle the top of cheese batter with chopped onion and green chillies before baking.
