Step 1

For preparing crispy coconut prawns, marinate the prawns in chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste and lemon juice over night in the fridge.

Step 2

In another bowl mix maida, chilly powder, grated coconut, turmeric powder, baking powder and salt with required water to make a thick batter. Keep it aside.

Step 3

Heat coconut oil in a deep frying pan.

Step 4

Dip each marinated prawn in the batter and deep fry it in oil on low flame.

Step 5

Crispy coconut prawns are ready. Serve hot as a starter.
