Step 1

For preparing crispy prawn rolls, mix wheat flour with ghee, salt and required water. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Marinate the prawns in salt and steam the prawns in a steamer till done.

Step 3

Remove it, chop it and keep it aside.

Step 4

In a bowl mix in steamed-chopped prawns, carrot, ajinomoto, cabbage, pepper powder, oyster sauce and onion. Keep it aside.

Step 5

Roll out the wheat dough into small chapattis.

Step 6

Fill it with the prawn mixture and roll it. Cut it into 2 inch pieces.

Step 7

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry the rolls till it becomes crispy and brown on low flame.

Step 8

Repeat the procedure with the remaining dough and prawn mixture.

Step 9

Crispy prawn rolls are ready. Serve hot as a snack with ketchup.
