Season ribs with seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Allow ribs to rest for 30 minutes. (You can also cover and place them in a refrigerator or cooler overnight.)
Pour soft drink into pot of water and bring to a boil. Place seasoned ribs into pot and boil for about 30 minutes, until meat is cooked.
Heat grill to medium - hot.
Place ribs on to the grill and brush with barbecue sauce to taste. After 10 - 15 minutes flip ribs and re- peat.
Serves 6 - 10.
