Step 1

cut beef into medium sized pieces and cooked in a pressure cooker with garam masala pd, chilly pd, coriander pd, turmeric pd and one spoon ginger-garlic paste. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and lightly fry the rice.

Step 2

In a pressure cooker heat oil and add the whole spices.

Step 3

Add the coarsely ground ginger, garlic and green chillies. Fry for a minute. Add the chopped onions and saute till the raw smell disappears

Step 4

Add the tomatoes chopped and after two minutes add the cooked beef.

Step 5

Add 4 cups of boiling water to this and the chopped coriander and mint leaves.

Step 6

Add salt and put the lightly fried rice into this boiling mix.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for exactly 5 minutes with the weight kept on it. Switch off the flame and open the cooker only after 10 minutes.

Step 7

Check for salt and sprinkle salt water and stir if needed.

Step 8

Serve with raitha and pappads.

Notes :

Garam masala powder to cook the meat should include cloves,cinnamon,cardamom,fennel (saunf),pepper and cummin seeds (jeera).
