Ingredients

Step 1

Clean the beef and chop into small pieces. Keep this aside.

Step 2

Make a smooth paste with the ingredients: turmeric powder, chilly powder, salt, pepper powder, green chillies, garlic, ginger, vinegar and mustard seeds.

Step 3

Marinate beef with the above prepared paste and leave aside for a few minutes.

Step 4

Put the pan on stove, heat oil and allow to splutter the mustard seeds. Add onion and ground green chillies.

Step 5

When onion becomes brownish, add beef. Add little water and allow to cook in a pressure cooker until done. This is not a gravy curry.

When you bring in pressure cooker you must tell the reader how many whistles.

Lakshmi RamIt depends on quality of beef. Some beef cooks in pressure cooker for 45 mts and still it wont get cooked fully. I think the minimum should be 20 mts for most of the beef in pressure cooker. It is like a trial and error.
