Step 1

Heat oil in a kadai and splutter cumin seeds.

Step 2

Add diced onions and when it's done partially, add capsicums and saute.

Step 3

Add turmeric powder, salt, pepper powder and saute.

Step 4

Add tomatoes and fry.

Step 5

Wait for 2-3 minutes and finally add coriander powder. Keep sauting in low heat.

Step 6

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Step 7

Tips:
1)Note that there is no need to add water as all these ingredients gets cooked fast and moreover this curry needs to have a slight crunchiness which makes it special.

Step 8

While cooking capsicum, don't cover kadai with lid, it should be cooked in an open kadai.

Step 9

This can be served as a side dish for rice too and goes well with phulka/roti/chappathi.
