Cut the tortillas into 2 - 4 pieces.
Deep fry them in hot oil.
:- You can make easy and tasty pooris from the tortillas you get from the US grocery store.
:- Many Indians don`t like the way the tortilla tastes. Just try this out with Bachelor Baji.
Hey, I usually make easy chappathi with tortillas.As there are so much tortillas available in market, look for the nearest one that tastes like chapathi/poori. If the ingredient is 100% wheat flour and nothing else, then 90% of them tastes like our chappathi/poori.
IN UK, the one tastes most similar is "old el paso soft flour tortillas"
Its nice, comes out crispy when fried in very hot oil!

this seems to be a good n easy way of cooking poories, even though it does `nt give the real poori taste it tastes little bit like chola poori it goes well with channa masala .... recipe adipoly aanu ketto
I agree with the other people who have rated this recipe... It is good but not all would like it. I have tried it on my other friends, but many rejected it immeadiately. I liked it so as such no problems from my side
