Step 1

For preparing easy rogan josh, grind together grated coconut, garam masala powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, green chillies, tomatoes and almonds to a fine paste.

Step 2

Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and saute the onions till it becomes golden brown in colour.

Step 3

Then add in the ground paste and salt. Saute it till the ghee separates.

Step 4

Toss in the cubed mutton pieces and saute it for another 1 minute. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and allow it to cook with required water.

Step 5

Once done, garnish with coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.

Step 6

Rogan josh is ready.
