Directions

Step 1

For preparing easy sponge cake, first separate egg whites and yolk.

Step 2

Beat the egg yolks until thick and stir in sugar slowly. Add lemon rind, lemon juice and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Now stir in the sieved flour and stiffly beaten egg whites.

Step 4

Pour the cake mixture into a cake dish and cook at 325ª for 15 minutes.

Step 5

Easy sponge cake, a yummy as well as delicious cake, is ready.
