Egg cooked with potatoes, onion, tomato and coconut

Step 1

Grind together the ingredients for grinding into a coarse paste.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.

Step 3

Saute onions, garlic, ginger and green chillies.

Step 4

Add coriander powder, red chilly powder and turmeric powder.

Step 5

Add potatoes, tomatoes and salt.

Step 6

Cook till potatoes are done.

Step 7

Add coconut paste and cook for 2 mins.

Step 8

Cut eggs into half add to the mix.

Step 9

Mix well.

Step 10

Finally, add coconut oil.


I tried this recepie and the result was verygood. Thanks.

Mallu Land

A variation of this is to add Coconut milk at the end. It will be much tastier.


A good & different dish with egg..I tried your amla pickle too.keep posting more recipes....
