Take a pan and pour 1 tsp of oil. Fry the grated coconut and dry red chillies till golden in color.
Grind to a smooth paste with required salt, lime juice and turmeric powder. Keep this aside.
Clean the fish and make gashes on both sides.
Fill the gashes with ground coconut paste. Keep aside for sometime.
Take a pan and pour sufficient oil for frying. Heat the oil and fry the fish on both sides.
Fish fry with coconut paste is ready and serve hot.
