Ingredients

Directions

Step 1

Make a paste of chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder in 4 tsp of water.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 3

Saute onions, chilli, garlic, ginger and curry leaves together.

Step 4

When done, add the masala paste and stir.

Step 5

Add 1 1/2 cups of thin coconut milk, salt and vinegar.

Step 6

Cover and boil.

Step 7

Add fish and after its cooked and the gravy has thickened, add 3/4 cup thick coconut milk.

Step 8

Simmer for 3 mins and remove from flame.

Step 9

:- Serve hot with rice.

I coated the fish with a portion of the masala and fried it before adding it. It turned out very good. My husband liked it very much and said that it was the best one he ever tasted compared to the other fish mappases he had in the past. Keep up the good work.

good one. it may tase better if you fry the fish before putting it in to the gravy.
