For preparing fish and chips, first whisk together 1/2 cup maida, yeast, wine, salt, pepper and egg for preparing batter.
Add water only if required. Keep aside for 1/2 hour.
While making fish fry, first roll fish fillets in plain flour and then dip in batter and deep fry it in hot oil.
For french fries, pat dry the potatoes, and fry it in oil.
Sprinkle salt and pepper.
In a serving plate, place fish on one side and french fries on other side.
Place tomato ketchup and mayonaise and coleslaw in middle and serve hot.
Fish and chips recipe is ready.
