In a bowl take the fried dals .
Dissolve jaggery in a bowl and filter the impurities.
Heat till it becomes thick syrup.
Mix the syrup with the dal well.
When you can tolerate the heat apply oil on the palms and roll them into small balls and serve.
The left over idlies from breakfast can be reused if people do not prefer eating idly in more than one meal time.
