Directions

Step 1

For preparing fried kulchas, first add required salt to the maida flour and sift well.

Step 2

Gradually stir in flour into the mashed potato in small quantities and blend well with your hand.

Step 3

Do not add water to the dough.

Step 4

Wet your hand with little warm water and knead the dough until smooth.

Step 5

Make medium sized balls with the entire dough and roll out each ball into thick round shapes.

Step 6

Heat sufficient ghee in a frying pan and fry the kulcha to a golden brown color.

Step 7

Fried kulchas are ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
