Step 1

For preparing fried masala chicken, clean chicken pieces, wash well and drain. Keep it aside.

Step 2

Grind tomato and onion into a fine paste.

Step 3

Take a bowl, add onion-tomato paste, ginger-garlic paste, pepper powder, cumin seeds powder, cinnamon powder, cloves powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, lime juice and salt.

Step 4

Mix to make a thick paste. Add a little water if required.

Step 5

Marinate the chicken for 3 to 4 hours in the refrigerator.

Step 6

Then heat oil in a deep frying pan and fry both the sides of the chicken pieces till it becomes golden brown.

Step 7

Once it is cooked, remove it from the oil and place it in a plate layered with tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.

Step 8

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 9

Fried masala chicken is ready. Serve hot.
