Step 1

Fry asafoetida, fenugreek, coriander seeds and jeera in a pan without using oil.

Step 2

Fry them till the mixture color turns brown.

Step 3

Grind the contents in a mixie. Keep this masala powder separate.

Step 4

Squeeze the lime fruits to extract the juice. Filter the juice.

Step 5

Add salt to it.

Step 6

Heat gingelly oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.

Step 7

When mustard seeds start to splutter, add garlic.

Step 8

Add lime juice when the mixture becomes 1/4th cooked.

Step 9

When the garlic is half cooked, add turmeric powder, chilli powder, masala powder and salt.

Step 10

Cook for few minutes and add powdered jaggery.

Step 11

Keep on the stove for about 10 mins.

Step 12

Allow it to cool.

Step 13

:- Garlic pickle is ready.

Step 14

:- Store the pickle in bottles.


it was really nice bit i thought you may add some more lime fruits to it.
