Step 1

For preparing ginger bread, boil milk and salt.

Step 2

Remove it from the heat and add in honey. Let it cool.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees celsius.

Step 4

Grease a bread tin with butter and line it with grease proof paper.

Step 5

Crush cinnamon, cloves, aniseeds and coriander seeds.

Step 6

In a bowl, add in maida, crushed spices, baking powder and ginger. Mix well.

Step 7

Pour in the milk mixture and knead it to make a smooth dough.

Step 8

Put it into the tin and bake it for 1 hour in the oven.

Step 9

Allow the ginger bread to cool on the rack and then remove it from the tin.

Step 10

Ginger bread is ready.
