Step 1

Marinate the mutton pieces with ginger paste, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric and salt for 1 hour.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pressure cooker.

Step 3

Temper with whole spices.

Step 4

Add chopped onions and green chillies and fry till onions are transparent.

Step 5

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry on low heat for 2 mins.

Step 6

Add the meat with the marinade and saute for 10 mins on low heat.

Step 7

Pour the thin coconut milk over the meat and pressure cook for 15 mins.

Step 8

Add the thick coconut milk and allow to boil for 5 mins.

Step 9

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Step 10

:- Serve with with dosa, idiappam, poories, chappathis etc..
