Step 1

For preparing gooseberry pickle, boil gooseberries in salt water till it becomes tender. Strain it and keep it aside to cool.

Step 2

Heat sesame oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds.

Step 3

Add in the cooked gooseberries, chilly powder, turmeric powder, vinegar and required salt. Mix well.

Step 4

Allow it to cool and preserve it in an airtight container.

Step 5

Gooseberry pickle is ready.
