Step 1

For preparing Greek moussaka with eggplant, first heat oil in a pan and saute onions and ginger.

Step 2

Add minced meat and saute for sometime till water dries up completely.

Step 3

Add some water, required salt and cook the minced meat in low fire covering with a lid.

Step 4

When the meat is cooked, add tomatoes and pepper powder. Saute till dry and mashed. Keep the cooked meat aside.

Step 5

Meanwhile, slice brinjal into thick round pieces and keep in salted water for a few minutes. Drain well the brinjal pieces.

Step 6

Heat sufficient oil in a frying pan and fry the brinjal pieces. Keep the brinjal pieces aside.

Step 7

Heat butter in a pan and prepare white sauce by mixing maida flour and milk.

Step 8

Remove white sauce from fire and beat an egg into it. Add grated cheese and mix well.

Step 9

Now, we are entering the final stage of our preparation of Greek moussaka with eggplant. Arrange fried brinjal and meat alternately in a baking dish.

Step 10

Pour the white sauce over it and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees till the top turn golden brown in color.

Step 11

Greek moussaka with eggplant, a yummy nutritious dish is ready. Serve hot.
