Grind together coriander leaves, green chillies, poppy seeds, ginger, garlic, cloves, black pepper and cinnamon sticks into a fine paste.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry onions and tomatoes, until the onions turn golden brown.
Add potatoes and mix well.
Add the ground paste and stir for 5 mins.
Add chicken and stir again for 5 mins.
Add water and salt and mix well.
Cover and cook, till chicken is cooked and the gravy thickens.
:- Serve with roti or rice.

I tried this recipe and everyone loved it. My father-in-law got the ingredients for me to make it again when I went to visit them. I added potatoes that I fried with salt & peper and it was lovely!
The sequence of the ingredients is totally haywired. It should be Onions, then tomatoes, then chicken and then the green paste, in the end follow by water if required.
Please give proper directions next time!
I don`t understand the authenticity of the ratings of this recepie. When I tried it out, it was very bad. Thinking I might have gone wrong somewhere, I told my friends to try it out. They almost cursed me.Waste of time and ingredients.
