Step 1

Heat oil in a pan and fry cinnamon and cloves. Add half of the onion and saute for sometime.

Step 2

Add grated coconut to this and fry till the coconut turns golden brown in color.

Step 3

Cool it and grind into a smooth paste adding green chilly. Keep the coconut mixture aside.

Step 4

Cook green peas adding some water, turmeric and required salt.

Step 5

Stir in the previously ground coconut mixture and bring to a boil.

Step 6

Fry the rest of the onions separately and add it into the curry. Tasty peas curry is ready.

Step 7

:-If you are using dry green peas don't forget to soak overnight
